Fried Edible Grasshoppers

Grasshoppers (Caelifera) are a healthy and a valuable source of protein and calcium.
 
We sourc our grasshoppers from dedicated farms in Thailand and China. The grasshoppers are cleaned, frozen to remove legs and wings, fried and then dehydrated to remove mositure. When fully dehydrated we season them with salt and pack them in cans with oxygen absorbers. This keeps them fresh for over a year.
 
Each can contain 15 grams of dried Grasshoppers. Each weighs approximately 2 grams after dehydration.
 
Ingredients: Grasshoppers, soybean oil, salt
 
Net Weight 15g, Gross Weight 15g, Shelf life: 1 year from date of manufacture.
 
Cooking instructions: Our Grasshoppers are cooked and ready to eat, you can eat the whole bug straight from the can or you can add them to other foods, for example pizza toppings, or salads. There are many possibilities. Try dipping them in Thai sweet chili sauce!
