Canned Diving Beetles with Salt

Diving Beetles (Dytiscidae) are rich in protein and calcium.

We source our diving beetles from trusted insect collectors who provide us with the freshest insects available. We process them by cleaning them in filtered water, pressure cooking and then dehydrating for several hours. When fully dehydrated we season them with salt and pack them in cans with food grade oxygen absorbers. This keeps them fresh for over a year.
Each can contain 15 grams of dried Diving Beetles. Each weighs approximately 2 grams after dehydration.
Ingredients: Diving Beetles, Salt
Net Weight 15g, Gross Weight 28g, Shelf life: 1 year from date of manufacture.
Cooking instructions: The diving beetles are cooked and ready to eat, but first you need to remove the outer wings and then eat everything except the head. Try dipping them in Thai sweet chili sauce!
